As an individual, career development is an essential part of one’s career journey, also in one’s life journey. In order to improve oneself and keep up with the world, self-development is a way of advancement. As with in Industrial 4.0, albeit automations are slowly taking over humans of their hard skill sets, there would be however irreplaceable hard skill sets that one can develop for themselves. Soft skill sets on the other hand, as of now, still is in a relatively far distance away for the computerised world for catching up. Therefore, it is especially important for one to capitalise and further nurture themselves in this aspect to distinguish and set apart themselves from the rest, in this era.
