The purpose of STEM is to equip students with comprehensive skills to resolve their world real problems, which is necessary for their future vocational opportunity. Because of that, STEM education has been required in Vietnamese secondary and high school curricula at some bilingual and international schools. However, the majority of students at Vietnamese universities of education do not have enough strong abilities to adapt with STEM education and use it in these curricula. In this paper, we will discuss about 2 main problems: the circumstances of STEM in Vietnamese curricula and the challenges for pedagogical students to approach this integrated way with some discussions to advance the quality of pedagogy training at universities of Education in Vietnam.
